Virgo, if you've been waiting for that year in which you harden up like you need to, this is it. 

This is that year. 

When the Queen of Hearts is upright, she is the person anyone and everyone can come to, unloading their emotional baggage.  She is there to understand, to care.  She is there to "save" on occasion, but generally she makes things better.  After all, she is in the position to do so, and she has her heart, mind, and soul in the right place, and her intentions are as pure as is reasonably possible.

The Queen of Hearts is reversed, however, and this indicates that she has been dethroned.  What does this mean for you, Virgo? 

One, or lots of things.  For starters, it can mean that your heart is probably bleeding at this point due to some amount of abuse by others of your kindness, loyalty, expertise, money, and patience.   Abusers are more than likely (masculine) aggressive, argumentative, chemically-imbalanced and/or delusional women, or effeminate types. 

It's crucial for you to establish boundaries, and to be firm, well before someone begins to show signs of overstepping bounds or aggression or abuse.  Be wise.  Once those behaviors settle into your life, they'll be hard, even impossible, to stave off, and people can and will become attack-y in a number of ways.  Don't be too welcoming. 

Be tough.  This card is about tough love.

As an alternative, you may be experiencing a "yin deficiency".  I'd take care of this, as you might find yourself becoming more drained and achy as the year goes on. 

This card represents difficulties in creating.  Don't worry about inventing something all-new and exciting here, or about a lack of ideas.  People appreciate you as you are, you are useful, and you are still a fountain of knowledge and wisdom, as well as a source of strength, for others.  Believe it.  You will survive.

Conceiving and reproducing is part of the creation deal.  This card could indicate troubles in trying to have a baby.  It could mean waiting a while before having children due to some setbacks.  Or it could mean that you've decided not to start a family altogether.  Your decision is your business, and everyone else should stay out of it and mind their own.

Alternatively, this card could represent a motherly figure who might experience health problems and so forth this year.  Stay in touch and see if there is anything you can do to help out.  If the mother figure is, say, your wife or partner or sibling (or simply a female close to you), she needs help with the kid(s) as well as with an emotional outlet.

Overall, this year doesn't have to be so bad.  It's all a matter of not pushing it, and not allowing others to push you either, Virgo.  I'd advise that you listen as well... to yourself, so that you figure out what it is you're actually capable of doing and what your limits are (these change).  Don't be manipulative or allow others to manipulate you.  Try not to break any hearts, at least not deliberately.  Tone down any overbearing, jealous, possessive, demanding, or hypercritical tendencies, particularly around those who love you.  Too much neglect can prove detrimental.  And, finally, keep from focusing on what's "missing" and fully appreciate what's there.
